Enjoy the Fibonacci Song Here!
Taylor University students Nathan Sahly (junior Social Studies Education major) and Julia Gosden (sophomore Communications major) put the Fibonacci sequence to song! Julia writes, “I feel like I gained a better perspective of ‘Beauty’ in mathematics. I saw beauty in both fractals and the Fibonacci sequence. It is interesting to think that some of the patterns I think are so beautiful are also mathematical. Furthermore, when studying the Fibonacci sequence, I was amazed at how creation points towards a divine Creator. The sequence shows up in pineapples, pine cones, shells, waves, etc. The way I see this idea contributing to my liberal arts education is realizing I can find God’s fingerprint in everything. I want to apply this to my life by always considering how God is working, even when it seems like He isn’t, I know He is precise and sovereign.”
