On November 7, 2020, fifteen Taylor students competed in the Michigan Autumn Take Home Challenge (“MATH Challenge”), an annual math competition in which teams of three from different colleges in and around the state of Michigan work together to solve difficult problems. Congratulations to all fifteen of our students for participating in the 2020 MATH Challenge; this kind of competition takes persistence, dedication, and endurance!
In total there were twenty-eight teams representing fifteen different colleges and universities. Five of the teams were from Taylor, and two of Taylor’s teams placed in the top ten overall!
Special congratulations to Taylor team #13 (Andrew Friesen, Jeff Jewett, and Landon Kehr) who scored third place overall, and to Taylor team #14 (Caleb Fox, Joseph van der Harst, and Alexander McFarland) who scored sixth place overall. Great job!
