Senior and Math Education major, Andrew Friesen, has been given the amazing opportunity to student teach in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and further his goal for preparation for the mission field. “I was a missionary kid in Ecuador, and ever since leaving the mission field when I was 7 [years old], I have felt God putting it on my heart to go back in missions,” Friesen said.
Friesen will student teach at an International Christian School throughout the Fall 2021 semester and hopes to gain insight as to whether he wants to teach or do missions in some other capacity, to improve his Spanish, and to grow in his reliance upon the Lord.
