John Ragan (Math/Physics Education ’21) shared his adventures teaching STEM courses for Eastbrook High School at the 2023 Mathematics Department Banquet. While having his students create Heelys and launching goldfish into space inspired students to consider different tech related pursuits, John’s passion is in helping the students see the gifts that God has given them. His success with students was noted as he was the first educator to receive a Conexus Indiana Rising 30 award (see article) which recognizes early-in-career individuals in the advanced manufacturing and logistics industries.
