The math department was blessed to have a lunch with Dr. Marvin Bittinger on September 26, 2025. Dr. Bittinger is a prolific author with over 250 publications including The Faith Equation: Mathematical Evidence for Christianity and a long list of mathematics textbooks. (https://marvinlbittinger.com/) Dr. Bittinger shared the stories behind several of his favorite math applications, some of the mathematical evidence connected to Christianity and his own story of developing his faith. Dr. Bittinger plans to continue blessing the department by providing scholarships for future Christian mathematicians. We are very grateful for Dr. Bittinger’s encouragement to our students and our program.
