For our freshmen MAT180 Problem Solving course, in lieu of a final exam, students solutions to problems posed by mathematics journals. Last year, fifteen students submitted to the same issue of Math Horizons, and all 15 students are credited in the September 2020 issue! You can find out more about Math Horizons here.

Dr. Patrick Eggleton, Associate Professor of Mathematics, presented “Great Desmos Math Activities” at the Indiana Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) Conference on Sunday, November 4, 2018. The session highlighted Desmos activities Taylor University Mathematics Education majors explore in their class “Teaching Mathematics in Secondary Schools”.
